The Sleeping Cliffs is a solo studio project by Todd Glidewell, who plays the guitars, bass, drums, keys, and percussion on the songs.
The music is overflowing with fuzz drenched guitars, bombastic percussion, and vintage organs, alternately screaming and whispering melodies at each other.“Soulful, rhythmic, electro-rock” describes the the musical intention behind the songs, but in truth the music draws from decades of experimentation and influences from rock, indietronica, funk, soul, neo-psychedelia, post-rock, and alternative.Residing in the Appalachian wilds of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, The Sleeping Cliffs have released 3 full albums and 3 EPs since starting in 2022.
